Spring Has Sprung!

Hey guys!

This week I thought I would do a sort of “life reflection.” Sometimes I get so caught up in the business and hectic-ness (is that a word?) of life, that I forget to take the time to realize what is going on in the world around me. So here I go!

As you know, Spring has recently started. Spring is my favorite season (besides summer of course). My birthday is in spring, the weather is georgeous, and everything is starting to bloom, so you get lots of pretty flowers everywhere !

Where I live, at this time of year the weather is perfect, and it is so nice to just walk outside and enjoy nature.

In the spirit of spring, my family and I went to this garden called Desconso Gardens. Everything has just begun to bloom there, and the flowers and trees are absolutely GORGEOUS.

They had everything from tulips to roses to cherry blossom trees. I thought you guys might enjoy some pictures that I took:

I love this shade of yellow! I just seems like a happy color

I love these flowers. They seem very spring/mother’s day like, plus they’re a really lovely shade of pink

These flowers were one of my favorites. I don’t know if you can tell, but the petals look like they’re made of fabric !! 😱

The variety of flowers REALLY makes it feel like it’s spring 🌷

Ok. These trees are amazing. Cherry blossoms are my favorite, because they are trees with white and pink flowers and they are just so beautiful!!!

Found these cute little flowers at the entrance of the gardens. They seem happy, don’t you think?

I hope you like this spring post!! I thought you guys might enjoy these pics 😉

What’s the spring weather like where you live? Comment down below which of these pics was your fave! Thanks for reading ❤️

DIY Room Ideas

Hey guys!

Have you ever looked around at your room and thought, something’s missing?

This is how I felt a few days ago. So, I came up with a few DIY ideas to decorate your room!

1. Dream Jar

You will need:

– A Mason jar (or any other jar)

– A labeling sticker

– A sharpie

1. Write the word “Dreams” on the labeling sticker using a sharpie

2. Put the sticker on the Mason jar

3. Write down any dreams/wishes that you have on pieces of paper, fold them up, and put them in the jar

4. (Optional) Create a fun design on the lid of the Mason jar

2. Washi Tape Light Switch

You will need:

– Washi tape (whichever color/design you prefer)

– A light switch (which is probably already attached to your wall)

1. Pick out your favorite Washi tape design/colors

2. Plan out how you’re going to put the tape on the switch

3. Stick the tape on the switch and voilà (fancy word !) you have a colorful light switch!

Note: You can also use Washi tape to decorate the outlets in your wall

3. Flower Lights

You will need:

– Cupcake liners (different colors)

– Scissors

– Christmas lights (I think white or soft yellow light looks best)

1. Cut the cupcake liners into flower and leaf shapes, leave a hole in the middle

2. Tape them to the back of the light

4. Clothesline Holders to hold… Anything!

You will need:

– Clothesline (or strong string)

– Clothespins

– Your picture/decoration

1. Hang the clothesline from one side of your wall the another

2. Attach the clothespins to the clothesline

3. Take the pictures/decoration that you want and clip them to the clothespins

5. Inspirational Picture Wall

You will need:

– Black (or whichever color you prefer) tape

– A picture frame

– Pictures

1. Pick out your pictures. They can be cool, inspirational, things that make you happy, even quotes! (Make sure all the pictures are the same size!)

2. Add your tape around the edge of the frame. If you want, you can just keep the frame as it is and not add the tape.

3. Glue your pictures to the frame. Make sure they are even and straight!

Hope this helps with any of your DIY room projects! Let me know how this goes for you! Leave a comment down below for what you want me to post about next week.

Makeup For Hazel Eyes

Hey guys!

So lets talk eyes. The color of your eyes can be a big factor of the kind of eye makeup you can wear.

I have hazel eyes, and I have struggled in finding eye makeup that makes me and my eyes look good.

But, thanks to Pintrest, I have successfully managed to find some makeup that highlights the color of my eyes.

If any of you out there have hazel eyes, you should definetly try this. It will make the georgeous color of your eyes stand out!

Btw, I will put pictures at the end, just in case the instructions don’t make any sense to you.

You will need:

– 1 small makeup brush (for applying eye shadow)

– 1 big makeup brush (for “mixing it together” at the end)

– Brown eye shadow

– Gold eye shadow or similar

– Mascara (optional)

Step 1: Apply brown eye shadow to to the right and left of your eyelid using the small brush. Keep the middle empty

Step 2: Apply the gold eye shadow to the middle using the small brush.

Step 3: Take the big brush and gently stroke your whole eyelid, so that the colors get blended together

Step 4 (optional): Apply some mascara, and you’re ready to go!

Let me know how this goes for you! If any of you guys has other makeup tips, let me know!

It’s The Little Things In Life

Hey guys!

Well… I made it through most of my tests that I’ve been stressed out about!! Yay!!! Just one more left wish me luck.. 🙂

The day I had all my tests, there was a big thunderstorm and it would not stop raining. I was very stressed out about my test, and kept trying to tell myself that I could do it.

During the test, I told myself to relax. I took a few deep breaths and listenened to the rain against the windows, letting it calm me.

After I finished my test, I felt free! It had stopped raining, so I went outside to get some air. What I saw took my breath away. It was a full rainbow in the sky, and not the ones that are faded and only have two colors.

This rainbow had all the colors that it is supposed to have, and stretched throughout the sky.

It was as if this beautiful rainbow was meant for me. I realized that the rainbow, which happened at a time where I was already happy, 100% made my day.

Even though I was already happy that I was done with my impossible test, this rainbow, a very small thing, left me in an even better mood.

Thinking back to the Day Of The Rainbow, I am reminded that it is the little things that matter in life. It could be anything, such as an old toy from your childhood that you found, a picture of you and a loved one… Anything. And in my case, the rainbow.

Have any of you ever had days like “Day Of The Rainbow”? Let me know in the comments!

Just… Relax

Hey guys!

So, this week I have been super stressed out with a lot of stuff – work, tests…

I was studying for a test the other day and could not concentrate at all!! I soon realized that I was not calm. I was in freak-out mode, which meant I was not very productive with my work or time.

I decided to take a short break (which is always a good idea) and went outside. I just stood there for a moment, taking in the quiet. As I was standing there, I felt the fresh air in my face and I closed my eyes and… Relaxed.

Later that day, I thought back to my relaxation moment, and realized that there are certain things that help me relax, which mostly have to do with nature-y outdoors settings.

One of my “calm places,” which is what I’ll call them, is the beach. I don’t know about you, but when I go to the beach I take off my shoes, put my feet in the cool, calming ocean, and just close my eyes. I listen to the rhythm of the waves as they go up and down the shore.

Doing this is one of the most effective ways to help me relax. I don’t know if it’s the sound of the ocean, or just the beauty of the beach itself, but I really suggest doing this! Go for a day to the beach and try to relax! Let things go, don’t think about anything that’s stressing you out.

So, what makes you guys calm? If you do go to the beach and try this out, let me know how it goes! Comment down below!
